U.S. stocks are poised for a slightly higher open on Monday, as investors await the consumer price index reading for December and big bank earnings later in the week.
At 6:35 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 22 points, or 0.1%, while the S&P 500 futures gained 0.2%, and Nasdaq Composite futures gained 0.3%.
